This article is in the politics section of mlive.com. First of all, they didn't even correctly present the facts; it says the Rick Snyder is the democratic candidate, when Virg Bernero is. Secondly, what exactly does Brenda Lawrence, Rick Snyder's running mate, have to do with her daughter's condo being foreclosed on? I feel like the author of this article is trying to make Brenda Lawrence, and probably even Bernero in the long run, seem like unqualified candidate.
Lawrence isn't the person on the lease of her daughter's condo, so why would anyone care if her daughter is facing financial troubles? This article is trying to change people's views on the democratic candidates.
Also, it says that the daughter owed $75,000 on the mortgage, and that the money has now been paid, but it can't be verified if Brenda Lawrence paid it. WHO CARES at all who paid it? I don't.
